Recent Projects

Press: I manage PR outreach for The Global Press Institute, an amazing organization that teaches journalism to women in the developing world. I have also worked as an editor reviewing articles, grants, the website and other print pieces for GPI. In the winter months I work as the publicist for the Madcap Players Winter Carnival of New Works, communicating with reviewers as well as utilizing social media to promote the production.

Publications Coordination: I am a freelance publications coordinator for Wolf Trap. This year I created six inserts for the spring series at The Barns and 20 inserts for Filene Center performances between May and August. In 2010, I gathered, edited and laid out the copy for 20 program inserts between May and September.

As the Production Specialist for Red Velvet Creative, I coordinate with the designer and clients to gather materials, create schedules, and work with printers to ensure publication projects are completed and delivered on time. Recent clients include the Folger Shakespeare Library, Association of Science-Technology Centers, School Directorease and National Family Planning and Reproductive Health Association, and St. Peter School.

Design & Editing: Other clients include the American Association of Museums, the Shakespeare Theatre Company, Moishe House, National Capital Kitchens, GOVantage Consulting, St Peter’s School Auction, Studio B, and the Lodi Community Foundation for whom I have edited projects as well as created brochures, newsletters, advertisements, and more. In 2011 I edited An Apple for Zoe (book one of a three part series) by writer Thomas Amo, Risky Romance by MaryAnn Kempher, and a new script by playwright Barry Colfelt.
