Annie Hunt has been working in the world of publications since her high school and college newspaper days. In 2007 she moved to Washington, DC and started working at the Shakespeare Theatre Company as their communication projects manager after a summer internship with New Media at the National Museum of American History. In 2009, she took the plunge into the world of freelance and hasn’t looked back. Annie spends about half of her time focused on projects for Red Velvet Creative and Blue Bike Communications and the rest of her time working with nonprofits and small businesses from Washington, DC to California. Annie operates a registered Certified Business Enterprise (CBE) with the District of Columbia’s Department of Small and Local Business Development.

Annie is a 2004 graduate of Loyola Marymount University where she majored in theatre, minored in history and was the editor in chief of the school paper. In 2006 she received her MA in public history from CSU Sacramento. She brings a love of deadlines and creative thinking into the world of print materials and online communications. Married for 10+ years and mom to a 3.5 year old, Annie loves (needs!) to start her day with a walk to the local coffee shop before diving into work.
